On Oct. 6, Punahou families and friends gathered on campus for the spirited tradition of Flaming “P”. A chili and rice dinner complete with caramel cuts was offered in Dole Hall. Face painting, cookie decorating and games for children were hosted by the PFA.

The Marching Band and the Oahu College Band energized the crowd on Rice Field while teachers led students in cheers. The evening concluded with three fire knife dancers, Hale Motuapuaka ’18, Maninoa Tufono ’19 and Matagi Thompson ’21, who delighted the crowd with their talents before lighting the “P”.
