Alumni Lū’au 2024

Celebrating milestones! Punahou Alumni from Classes ending in 4 and 9 reunited on campus for an unforgettable Alumni Lū’au. This year, the lū’au was being held on Chamberlain Field as Cooke Library, adjacent to Rice Field, is being renovated into the exciting new Mary Kawena Pukui Learning Commons.

A time-honored tradition continued with the 50th Class of 1974 marching into the tent to a standing ovation, sharing the special moment with fellow alumni. The Class then performed a beautiful hula.

Guests enjoyed a delicious meal by the Imu Gang and Dole Hall crew and were moved by a lively performance by the evening’s headliner, Henry Kapono ’67. What an incredible evening!
