Seventeen middle schoolers enjoyed an immersive cultural experience with their host families in Japan this February. The trip is part of a long-standing exchange program between Wo International Center and Tamagawa School in Tokyo, dating to 2001. Punahou students experienced train rides to school, attended classes with their new friends, participated in elective classes and went to ski camp in Nagano. They also shared their culture through presentations, hula and oli.
