A four-sport letterman, Nolan Ramirez ’71 garnered a total of ten Varsity letters: three each in football, basketball and baseball, and one in track.
In baseball he reached the pinnacle of the sport, when he was drafted by the Oakland A’s in 1976 and played several years of professional baseball. He attended Whittier College and graduated in 1978.
He has been a part of the coaching staff for both Punahou and UH baseball.
