Grades 6 – 8 summer school theatre students put on a magical show with their staging of “Alice in Wonderland” in Dillingham Hall on Wednesday, July 17, and Thursday, July 18. The production involved two classes: one focused on acting and the other on behind-the-scenes work, including set creation, costumes, lighting and props.
Through their talents, students created a world of whimsy that followed young Alice down the rabbit hole into the realm of magic and madness in Lewis Carroll’s beloved tale.
“Our summer theatre students worked so hard to create this production, which was a celebration of curiosity, creativity and the power of dreams,” said Courtney Booth, Co-Curricular Theatre Associate, who taught the summer acting class.
