Odori-ko, located at 1680 Kapiolani Blvd. below 24 Hour Fitness, serves traditional and contemporary Japanese cuisine. Owned by Hiro Takei ’01 and his sister, Rie, the restaurant is a family-run business started by their parents. Odori-ko is open seven days a week. Temporary hours are Monday – Friday, 11 a.m. – 10 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday, 4 – 10 p.m. Takeout orders can be placed by phone at (808) 955-6555. Limited parking is available fronting the restaurant. Additional parking is available. Enter off Kapiolani Boulevard, go up the ramp to 24 Hour Fitness parking.
Here’s what we ordered:
- Deluxe chirashi
- Two-choice teishoku meals (includes salad, edamame, rice and miso soup)
- Miso butterfish/pork tonkatsu
- Tempura udon/teriyaki
- Garlic shrimp/miso butterfish
- Kids meal (includes chicken karaage, arabiki sausage, gyoza, rice, edamame and soft drink)
- Gyoza
- Stuffed ahi & krab
- Assorted tempura
- California roll
