Rachel Waggoner ’23 operates a welding machine, with assistance from Academy Design Technology Advisor Michael Trusso during an Engineering 3 class at the D. Kenneth Richardson ’48 Learning Lab.
Trusso instructed Waggoner on basic welding techniques, principles and safety practices, as part of a lesson for students to refine their computer-aided skills and assemble projects using state-of-the-art equipment.
