After 24 years of dedicated service to Punahou School, Wendy Beckley Crabb will retire from the Board of Trustees this summer, leaving a legacy defined by vision, generosity and deep devotion to the Punahou community.
Wendy has long embodied the spirit of Buff ’n Blue as a trustee, philanthropist and steadfast supporter of student life. Her love for Punahou is also deeply personal, shaped by decades of connection to the School as a parent and grandparent. She joined the Board in 2002 and went on to serve in pivotal leadership roles, including Advancement Committee Chair from 2002 to 2023 and Board Chair from 2023 to 2025.
Her extraordinary service was recognized this year by the Punahou Alumni Association, which honored her with the inaugural Lei Hala Award. Created to recognize those who are not Punahou alumni but whose love for the School is reflected in enduring service, connection, and commitment to its mission, the award celebrates the many ways members of the broader Punahou ‘ohana help sustain and strengthen the School.
