Three-time Tony Award-winning musical, “Urinetown,” hit Dillingham stage April 11 – 13. Set in a dystopian city in the midst of a 20-year drought, the musical tells the story of a hero rising up to face a corrupt corporation controlling public toilets and water use.
The satirical Broadway show was an extravaganza of singing, tap dancing and a humorous take on deeper themes, from capitalism to environmental issues. It featured the talents of 55 actors and crew, from the Academy and grade 8.
