Despite pandemic protocols that restrict social gatherings, the Senior Class still found a way to safely come together during a lively Knockerball event in November. Encased in plastic bubbles, the students took part in two days of “bubble fun” on Alexander Field. They played soccer and other games, and also rolled, bounced and playfully bumped into friends. Senior Class Deans Lisa Stewart and Brendan Maloney came up with the idea as a bonding opportunity for the Class. Along with mask wearing, the balls were sanitized before and after they were used.
“Student leaders have suggested that our theme this year is ‘Separate but Together,’ and we think the perfect metaphor for that theme is a game of Knockerball,” the deans wrote in their letter to parents, announcing the outing.
