Students and teachers spread holiday joy during the weeks leading up to winter break. While kindergartners enjoyed a visit to the home of President Mike Latham ’86 and his wife, Jennifer, first grade students participated in a jingle bell run around the track. Meanwhile, students in kindergarten through fifth grade tested their skills on a holiday-themed obstacle course complete with hay bails, a tarp simulating “thin ice,” igloos and white barrels with cone noses resembling snowmen. The course was set up by Outdoor Education and PE faculty and Physical Plant staff. Academy students also joined the festivities by donning holiday outfits. Meanwhile, musicians came together for holiday performances to share with the Punahou community.
