Middle school students brought the fast-paced comedic play, “Puffs,” alive at Dillingham Hall’s theatre this summer. The off-Broadway production, also known as “Puffs, Or: Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic,” revolves around a young wizard named Wayne and the Puffs, a group of lovable misfit wizards, who tell an alternate version of “Harry Potter.”
Students from the Technical Theatre summer school class set the stage, building scenery and operating the light board. Students from the Fashion Design and Costume Construction class created the costumes for the show. Meanwhile, Theatre Performance students brought it to life through acting skills and poise. The course culminates in three performances this week for summer school students, family and friends.
