Punahou Music Department and Music School will present its Chamber Music Showcase 2021 on Friday, May 14, at 7 p.m. The virtual recital featuring student ensembles will be available here and on Punahou’s YouTube channel. Please join us!
The student ensembles include six string quartets and one piano trio. Repertoire will include works by Bach, Mendelssohn, Franck, Tchaikovsky, Debussy, Ravel, Prokofiev and Price. The concert presentation will also feature a special behind-the-scenes look at in-person and virtual rehearsals, as well as student interviews about what making music together has meant to them, especially during this challenging year.
