Punahou Robotics Ranked No. 1 in the World

Well done, Pokébolts! Punahou robotics team 6962 Pokébolts are currently ranked first in the world on the global FTC scoreboard as a result of the exceptional performance of their robot this fall.

FTC robotics is comprised of over 5,000 teams from 67 countries who compete in the FIRST Tech Challenge, which is a competitive STEM robotics program for students in grades 7 – 12, in which teams design, build and program robots to navigate targets and perform complex tasks for points.

“The super strength of team Pokébolts is their ability to custom design and fabricate their robot, as well as their seamless integration of AI applications for high end programming and flawless autonomous robot performance,” said Edward Kinnear, Design Technology and Engineering Academy Department Head.
