By Alva Lai, Graduation 2025 Parent Chair
The past few weeks leading up to and including Commencement were filled with anticipation, nostalgia and joy for the Class of 2025 and their families. From graduation attire fittings to putting the final touches on the stage at Stan Sheriff Center, everyone came together to honor traditions and celebrate our graduates.
Through months of hard work, dedication and collaboration with the PFA, school faculty, staff and administration, 31 senior parent co-chairs organized 10 graduation committees:
– Graduation Attire
– Information Packet
– Parent T-Shirts
– Oahuan Signing
– Parent Volunteers
– Baccalaureate Decor
– Clothing Exchange
– Commencement Decor
– Post-Graduation Event
– Post-Graduation Chaperones
The co-chairs, along with over 200 volunteers including senior and junior parents and guardians, friends and family created meaningful and memorable experiences for the graduates. Everyone’s generous gifts of time and energy ensured this graduation season will be remembered forever by the entire Class of 2025 ‘ohana.
