Kindergarten and first grade students reflected on making the world a better place, then created artwork with uplifting messages to inspire change at school and their communities.
Their voices and art were showcased in a hallway exhibit in the Omidyar K – 1 Neighborhood. Ideas included sticking up for oneself and others and getting help from trusted adults.
“Leadership starts with us,” said Junior School counselor Lauli’a Phillips ’98 Ah Wong who led the project in support of diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB).
