Academy students in Engineering and Global Sustainability by Design classes are busy finishing up projects they’ve been designing and working on this year. Here are some photos of their progress on various projects, from an aquaponic box to a robotic planter to a miniature train car, and more.
The D. Kenneth Richardson ’48 Learning Lab (KRLL) in the Mamiya Science Center was completed in 2018 as the first cutting-edge Design Technology Lab on the Punahou campus, and set the precedent for the high quality Design Labs now available for children across campus at all grade levels. Two new labs in the new Academy Learning Commons will expand upon the learning already taking place in the KRLL.
