Alumni were treated to VIP backstage access and seats in a special alumni section at recent Henry Kapono ’67 concerts on the continental U.S. Kapono invited alumni to meet and greet with him before concerts in Denver, Colorado; Phoenix, Arizona; Portland, Oregon and Berkeley, California. A concert in Vancouver, British Columbia is scheduled for Feb. 7.
The sold-out meet and greets offered alumni a chance to catch up with each other and with Kapono. His familiar music and the company of fellow Puns soothed homesick hearts. Some alumni made special trips to the concerts, flying in from as far away as Los Angeles and Sacramento and Olympia, Washington.
