Kindergartners continued the annual heartwarming tradition of celebrating their grandparents during the virtual Kūpuna Day celebrations, which took place over two weeks. Each cohort met with their grandparents over Webex for a special presentation of poems and a video of recorded songs. Afterwards, students were eager to give their kūpuna a tour of the classroom on their individual iPads. Painted hearts and decorations, created by the students who were dressed in pink, red and white for the occasion, also added to the festivities.
