The Punahou girls Varsity I and Varsity II basketball teams played in the first annual Nā Wāhine Pā‘ani O Punahou Basketball Invitational over the Thanksgiving holiday. It was an eight-team bracketed tournament and each team played three games.
Joining Punahou in the tournament were:

- Kamehameha Schools
- Sacred Hearts
- Mililani High School
- Mid-Pacific Institute
- Kaiser High School
