Punahou students in Kindergarten through Grade 5 wore orange on Wednesday, Oct. 21, in recognition of Unity Day, a nationwide initiative promoting kindness, acceptance and inclusion.
Observed during National Bullying Prevention Month, Unity Day encourages students and school communities to stand together against bullying and foster an environment where everyone feels safe, respected and valued. Through their participation, Punahou’s youngest learners showed their commitment to creating a welcoming and inclusive school community.
