Greetings from Alaska! A group of 16 seniors and two faculty members traveled to the picturesque state this summer for a Senior Capstone course, which focuses on cultivating social responsibility, sustainability and global citizenship. As part of their journey, from June 22 – July 14, the students are engaging in cultural exchanges and service learning with the Alaska native Inupiaq community in Utqiagvik, the northernmost city in the country, and learning about environmental protection efforts and the Tlingit culture in Juneau.
