Student speakers took the stage in Dillingham Hall this May for the 2025 Damon Speech finals, marking the culmination of a time-honored Punahou tradition that dates back to 1872. Throughout the spring, seventh and eighth graders spent weeks researching, writing, and rehearsing persuasive speeches on topics they care about, culminating in powerful presentations before an audience of peers, teachers, and families. The event celebrated their growth as communicators and their confidence in using their voices to inspire change.
