E Ho’i Mai Brings Alumni Together for a Night of Connection and Celebration

More than 500 alumni, faculty and staff gathered in the Academy Quad on June 4 for E Ho’i Mai: Alumni Celebration, a special evening of fellowship during Alumni Week.

Representing classes from 1956 to 2026, attendees enjoyed food, refreshments and live entertainment while reconnecting with classmates and fellow members of the Punahou community. Musical performances by the Oahu College Band, led by Greg Kim ’75, and Ka‘ahele – featuring Andy Bunn ’86, Blair Sataraka ’92, Scott Schmidtke ’01 and Toby San Luis ’88 – provided the soundtrack for the evening. The group was joined by guest performer Pat Quilter ’64.

Guests also had the opportunity to tour the new Mary Kawena Pukui Learning Commons, offering a preview of the campus’s newest learning and gathering space.

The celebration highlighted the enduring bonds that connect generations of Punahou alumni and the shared spirit that continues to bring the Buff ’n Blue community home.
