Named Co-Athlete of the Year in 1982, Kim Pennington ’82 Roll was a four-year letter winner in track and a three-year winner in soccer.
In track, she had numerous outstanding achievements as a member of three State Championship and four ILH Championship teams. She placed in the Top Three in a State Championship race 10 times, winning seven.
Kim went on to the University of California, Los Angeles where she was a four-year member of the cross country team, earning 2nd Team Pac West Conference honors in 1985-86.
Kim has coached cross country for both Iolani and Punahou.
