In a heartfelt gesture for Teacher Appreciation Week, members of Punahou’s Polynesian Club gathered after school to prepare and serve homemade laulau for Academy teachers. The students wanted to recognize the educators who have supported them throughout the year. From wrapping the laulau to serving the final plates, the effort was filled with care, gratitude, and community spirit. The gesture was more than a meal – it was a celebration of connection, culture, and the deep appreciation students feel for their teachers’ guidance and support.
