Punahou Hosts Largest On-Campus College Fair

Punahou School hosted its largest-ever college fair as part of the Explore & Connect program, welcoming 58 representatives from institutions across Hawaiʻi, the continental United States and around the world.

Held in the P.E. Pavilion, the fair brought together sophomore and junior students for a morning of meaningful conversations and future planning. Students connected directly with admissions representatives, asking thoughtful questions and gaining insight into a wide range of academic programs and campus communities.

The breadth of institutions ranged from local campuses such as the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa and Chaminade University of Honolulu, to a strong presence of mainland universities including the University of Michigan, University of Washington, University of Oregon, University of San Diego, Loyola Marymount University and Pepperdine University. International institutions such as the University of Melbourne and The University of British Columbia further expanded the global reach of the fair.

Director of College Counseling Ryan Scudder noted the significance of the event, highlighting how bringing such a diverse group of colleges to campus allows students to explore options, build connections and begin envisioning their next steps with greater clarity.

Mahalo to all of our visiting representatives and to our college counseling team for making this impactful experience possible. Your partnership continues to support our students as they explore, connect and prepare for what lies ahead.
