This May, Punahou’s Jazz Band put on a lively performance in the courtyard in front of Dole Hall, showcasing pieces like “Blue Train,” “I Wish,” and “Bari Bari Good.” Shawn Conley ’01 directed some 18 musicians, who delighted the audience while grooving with their saxes, trombones, guitars, bass and piano. Fun fact: the talented Mr. Conley, profiled in the Spring 2019 Bulletin, played in the Punahou Jazz band back in 1999 – 2001!
