The inaugural Alumni Lū‘au springs to life, situated between Castle Hall and the original Dole Hall, on the Diamond Head side of campus. The first known photograph of this cherished tradition wasn’t captured until 10 years later, featured here at the festive gathering on June 5, 1936.
