A Look Back: Carnival

The tradition of Carnival began during the Depression in 1932 when Academy students hosted an “Oahuan Campus Carnival” to raise money for the yearbook. Since then, Carnival has been an annual highlight for the Punahou community as well as the broader community of O‘ahu. This year, Carnival takes place Friday, Feb. 7 and Saturday, Feb. 8 from 11 a.m. – 11 p.m. Take a look at scenes of Carnival through the years.
