Chapel Speaker Series Highlights Inclusion

As part of the Chapel Spirit and Health Speaker Series, K – 12 students are hearing from guest speakers this week about the importance of inclusion in our school community. Educators from UH Mānoa’s College of Education, Department of Special Education, including Jerae Kelly and Rhonda Black, who teach future special education teachers, are leading the sessions. Their message, “Choose to include,” encourages students to practice inclusion daily by introducing themselves to new people, inviting others to join activities, and showing empathy.

The Spirit and Health Speaker is supported by the Dr. Raymond Fah and Estelle Kan Kong Endowed Fund.
