In October, Greg Dickhens ’87 was elected to the Punahou Board of Trustees.

“It is an honor to join the other trustees to support Punahou and our community,” said Dickhens. “I look forward to collaborating and working together to help Punahou meet the challenges of these dynamic and changing times.”

Raised in Hawai‘i and a Class of 1987 Punahou graduate, Dickhens received a bachelor of science degree from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration with a concentration in real estate finance and property development. Subsequently, he obtained a master’s degree in business administration from the University of California, Los Angeles, Anderson School of Management.

Dickhens’ professional strength and experience are in the areas of hotel finance and development. With 26 years of hospitality experience, he brings a highly diverse and complementary skillset, a wealth of longstanding relationships, and an intimate understanding of the global marketplace to Punahou.

Greg and wife Keala Francis ’88 Dickhens have always been active with reunion planning for their respective classes and helped garner support for the Kawika Fairbanks ’88 Endowed Scholarship Fund and the 2014 renovation of Alexander Field.

Board of Trustees Chair Ethan D.B. Abbott ’72 enthusiastically welcomed Dickhens. “We are thrilled to add Greg to the Punahou Board of Trustees. Greg will enrich the School with his wide range of experiences and interests, both in business and also at Punahou. He will be a terrific ambassador for the School,” said Abbott.
