Last weekend was a busy one at Waterhouse Pool for the swimming and diving teams.
On Friday, Jan. 17, the boys and girls swim teams took on Kamehameha Schools. This meet was one of the last opportunities for individual swimmers to qualify for the 2020 K. Mark Takai Swimming & Diving Championships, which will take place Feb. 14 – 15 in Kihei.
On Saturday, Jan. 18, the Punahou divers took part in the Sandra Serai Invitational Meet at Punahou School. The annual meet honors Serai, a four-time state high school 1-meter diving champion and All-American (1983 – 1986) who coached diving at Punahou from 1991 – 1999. Serai passed away in 2003.
