Beep, beep! It’s Takeout Tuesday, when we feature alumni-owned restaurants and food establishments in a video review. Let’s support these and other locally owned small businesses by ordering takeout.

Tanioka’s Seafoods and Catering – located at 94-903 Farrington Highway in Waipahu – began as a small family business in 1978. Today, under the leadership of Jasmine Tanioka ’91, CFO and office administrator, Tanioka’s employs more than 130 employees.
Tanioka’s specializes in providing locally sourced ahi and aku, as well as other local favorites. Honored with numerous awards over their 42-year history, they also contribute extensively to the community through Tanioka’s Charitable Foundation. They have donated more than 3,500 bentos to health care heroes through the Hawaii Pacific Healthcare Foundation since COVID-19 began, as well as donating meals to different community organizations every single week.
