Elila Stone ’91 Levinson will join the School as K – 1 administrative dean. Levinson comes to Punahou after serving as the director of the Hanahau‘oli School Professional Development Center where she worked directly with Hanahau‘oli faculty, as well as educators from schools and community organizations statewide.
Prior to her work at Hanahau‘oli, she was the director of lower school admission at Maret School in Washington, D.C. Her experience also includes a Principal Internship in the Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools, as well as teaching and administrative roles in a K – 6 Jewish Day School in Los Angeles. Levinson holds a master’s degree in school administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
“We are so happy that Elila is joining us at Punahou,” said Junior School Principal Dr. Paris Priore-Kim ’76. “In addition to her professional acumen and experience, she brings warmth and grace to her work with children and their families.”
