Nearly 40 middle school students charmed audiences during two fall performances of “Shrek The Musical JR.” at Dillingham Hall
This year's Variety Show reenacted the production of a TV sitcom, taking audiences behind the scenes
With catchy songs and action-packed scenes, “Disney’s Mulan JR.” celebrated a beloved tale of Chinese culture and honor. Performances presented by Punahou middle- school students, based on the 1998 Disney film “Mulan” and the story “Fa Mulan” by Robert San Souci, captivated audiences of all ages in early November.
With support from Kuaihelani Learning Center, Hawaiian culture now plays a central role in Punahou’s educational philosophy, enriching the experience of its students and faculty.
She served as activity chair for her 10th Reunion last year, and made a meaningful pledge to the Punahou Fund
On June 4, thousands of family, friends and faculty celebrated the graduation of the Class of 2016 at the Neal S. Blaisdell Center. The ceremony began with a lively presentation by the seniors of Punahou’s 175th anniversary song, “Punahou Stand Strong,” written by Roslyn Freitas ’82 Catracchia. Later in the evening, several students performed a graceful hula while classmates sang “Ka Makana I Aloha ‘Ia.”
Between her travels to surf destinations around the world, three-time world surf champion Carissa Moore ’10 visited Punahou to speak to Punahou’s youth as this year’s Spirit and Service Speaker.
Awardees were honored at the final PFA meeting of the 2017 – 2018 school year.
